For at least three years, the lights over the Phil O'Donnell drill collection haven't worked. With the help of a generous donation from an anonymous husband and wife, UGMM was able to hire Gray Electric to re-wire and install new lights on that side of the building.

The museum is open on Saturdays 11 to 4 or other days by appointment. We have an expanded selection of books in stock covering topics such as geology, prospecting, local history, plant identification and more. If you are in the area, please stop by!
